And it sucks.  This site just earned the right to be deleted from my favorites.  What a shame to absolutely ruin an otherwise decent site.   New format= not worth logging into.

LOL....and it's for sale again. I never thought I'd see the day when I missed Brandon's running of the site.

Nitpickers.com is not actively on the market as being for sale.  The site is functioning correctly for the most part.  The remaining issues are being worked on right now

Then maybe you want to get rid of the link on the page that asks people to make an offer.

If I was them, I wouldn't want to get rid of it at all. Why would they? It's not like there's a big "FOR SALE" banner - it's a tiny little link in the corner that doesn't even say anything about selling the site. You have to click through to get to the e-tracker site.

Let's be realistic, here - every website is for sale if the price is right (even if the price is $44 billion for Yahoo!). Just because the owner of a given site is not actively pushing to sell something doesn't mean they wouldn't be interested in hearing people's reasonable offers, and getting a sense of what the market value is. That's good information to have.

Question:  Referring to Nitpickers, Moviechatter, and Moviequotes, that website says "2) Websites have been online for over 10 years."  Is that true?  The copyright notice dates back to 1999.

I respectfully disagree that the "site is functioning correctly for the most part".  Without the basic elements of submission review, vote, and approval, Nitpickers.com cannot be considered anywhere near "correct".  And there are a host of other problems that are being worked very slowly and secretly.  How many man-hours of labor were worked/charged by the programmers on Nitpickers for week-ending 1 February?
